As soon as his owner brings out the small cup of whipped cream, he pops up as if he is ready to dive in face-first — but his owner checks him with a reminder to be patient, telling him, “No, sit.” Charlie actually listens, sitting like he knows good things come to those with manners.
As soon as he receives his reward, the puppy starts licking the cream with full focus, as if nothing else exists. He does not even take breaks and instead attacks the pup cup with full commitment. And when the cup runs low, Charlie proves he wastes nothing. After finishing most of it, he moves on to cleanup duty, licking leftover cream from his leash and licking the cream on the ground.
The video’s caption reads, “He can hardly contain his excitement!!” And everyone can see that, because the excitement makes sense for a Golden Retriever puppy as new treats hit them with a distinct taste and the attention that comes with it.
