Vinyl, the English Bulldog puppy, may not realize it, but her morning yoga is melting hearts on the internet. In a video from @vinylthebulldog on Instagram, Vinyl is inside her playpen, stretching her chubby little body out to the absolute limit, and it is as sweet and hilarious as it gets. But the best part of the video is that Vinyl could not look less concerned with how silly she looks.
Bulldog puppy’s ‘morning yoga’ will capture anyone’s heart
As the Bulldog puppy’s dad records her during her morning yoga routine, he cannot help but laugh at her dedication, asking her, “Big stretch, huh?” And what you see is Vinyl being completely in her zone. She firmly keeps her front paws out on her puppy pad while she stretches her back legs all the way behind her on her gray bed. She looks like she was trying to bridge a gap, but somehow froze in the pose.
This dramatic pose is actually a very famous move known as the “sploot.” Like many other breeds, English Bulldogs are notorious for doing this, mostly because the stretch is incredibly easy and comfortable for them. Lying flat like a little frog helps them relax their tight hip muscles after a nap, and it is also an easy way for a thick puppy to press her belly against a cool floor to chill out.
Viewers could not help but laugh at her form. One viewer wrote, “Downward dog for the win,” and another called her a “stretching croissant.” Meanwhile, some viewers graded her performance, with one giving her a “14/10 on the sploot” and another praising her “10/10 form.” One viewer even joked about her serious expression, writing, “She looking at you like, ‘yes I’m doing my morning stretches, how may I help you?’”
