The clip was shared by @rescuednrowdy on Instagram, with the paw parents sharing Tyson’s emotional life story in the video. They explain that Tyson was found in a dumpster fifteen years ago in East New York, adding that he must have been just a few weeks old when he was discovered.
The owners shared that one of their friends was walking home from work when he heard puppies crying. He found two puppies and called someone to ask what to do, leading to the puppies ending up in their care.
While one pup found another home, the other, Tyson, stayed with them. He quickly became a part of the family, bonding with them and also forming a close connection with another dog named Diamond.
In the caption, the pet parent shared that Tyson turned into the “gentlest soul” she has ever met. Paying a sweet birthday tribute, she wrote, “I didn’t get all fifteen years with you. But I got the years that mattered most, and I’m so grateful for every one of them.”
