And while the house is full of energy, her priority every single morning is checking in with Beerus. He is a Scottish Straight who usually prefers a quiet start to his day. However, he cannot seem to resist his canine sister’s persistent affection once the sun comes up.

The video starts with Rako climbing slowly across the bed to find her human and her favorite feline friend. Mom is lying down and filming as the pup navigates the soft duvet. Once she reaches Beerus, she starts sniffing and licking his hind legs with pure excitement. These small hounds are famously brave and curious about everything in their environment, and Rako is clearly on a mission to ensure her brother feels loved before the day truly begins.
Soon enough, she moves even closer to his face to get a better reaction from her sleepy sibling. She boops his nose with hers, but Beerus initially moves his head away from the sudden intrusion. Rako remains totally undeterred and continues to sniff around him while waiting for a response.
Their human tells in the caption that every morning starts with a cuddle check-in, and Rako is not going to let Beerus skip it today. Moreover, the cat’s initial hesitation quickly turns into a very sweet display of affection. Beerus eventually reaches out with his paws to pull Rako’s face in for a warm hug. He begins grooming her ears and eyes with long, slow licks to show his appreciation.
