The non-profit organization Wags and Walks shared French Bulldog Balboa’s story on its social media handle. The clip begins with the caretakers and volunteers cheering for the pooch, who is all set to leave the center with his new family.
It then takes viewers back to the time when the fur baby was rescued. “Balboa came to us from a crowded shelter with infected skin, wounded eyes, and a broken spirit,” an on-screen text reads. According to their medical team, the pooch was supposedly “used as a bait dog.” Despite his critical condition, neither his caretakers, medical professionals, nor the Frenchie gave up.
After months, Balboa’s wounds have healed. However, his vision has not been fully restored. But his bad days have ended, as a wonderful family who were his fosters have adopted him. In the caption, the organization thanked “Pup Club donors” for helping the team in the pooch’s treatment.
